Joglo Clubhouse School, Canggu, Bali

Friday Fun-Day!

Let’s not forget how important it is for kids to simply have fun. At Joglo Clubhouse School we recognize the power of “play”, whether it’s quiet and structured or active and wild! We all learn best when we are enjoying ourselves and children are no exception – both through the learning that happens through fun activities, or overall happiness in life. So, enjoyment is very much at the heart of the Joglo way, and this is why…

… we run super fun outings on Fridays!

The Joglo Clubhouse 2026 calendar

Extraordinary real-world experiences!

Our Fridays alternate between “Beach-Days” and occasional outings such as waterparks, bike rides, skate parks, animal encounters (Bali Marine Safari Park, Bali Zoo, Bird Park, Reptile Park, monkey forests) ice-skating, mini motocross, waterfall pools, gymnastics/parkour, playgrounds, and other amazing kids activities.

How lucky are these kids!

On Fridays we run a half-day of regular school scheduling, and the other half – off we go! Most Fridays we go to the local beach and let the kids run, play games, jump in the surf. Occasionally, if our outing requires it, we take the full day!

It doesn’t get much better than this

These outings are optional and are held at an additional cost. As we are experts in Bali’s best kids attractions, we make it possible to have such incredible fun at a very low cost. The fee for these outings varies, ranging between Rph 300,000 – 400,000.

Overnight Trips

Sometimes we take the kids on an amazing trip overnight somewhere in Bali. These trips include camping and hiking up Mount Batur, SILAS fun-park and rafting, Medewi surf camp, snorkeling in Amed / Lembongan / Menjangan, and waterfalls hiking / platform jumping.

Again, like the Friday Fun-Days, these school trips are optional and require an additional fee, which varies depending on the destination, around Rph 700,000 – 1,000,000.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Friday outings included in school fees?

No they aren’t, they are an additional extra, but they are completely optional. The cost is usually around Rph 300,000 per outing

What kind of trips do you go on?

We go on trips to Bali’s best (affordable) kids attractions. We have some favorites, such as the local parkour center, water-splash playground, kids mini motocross, indoor rock-wall climbing, waterparks, countryside bike-ride, skate/scooter park, rafting, various animal experiences, and of course the local beach.

Do you go out every single Friday?

Yes indeed we do! Every other Friday we head over to the local beach for a splash around and play in the sand, otherwise every two weeks we go out to one of these amazing places.

Is it mandatory for my child to join the outings?

No, absolutely not. Some students might stay at the school with the teachers and do some light activities or arts & crafts. Usually though, all the kids tend to come on these outings and they are so much fun, of course wonderful real-world learning experiences, and priceless life-long memories!

How do you travel to the various locations? How far away are they?

We rent cars and drive there. The furthest is around 1 hour away, but most are within 30 minutes – some local favorites are just a few minutes, and of course the local beach is just around the corner.

Do the outings take up the whole school day?

Usually they do not, but it depends on how far away they are. Most of the trips are nearby and we’re only out for 2 or 3 hours, so we run usual classes at the school as well.

Can my child join just the one Friday to come for the outing?

Yes, but you have to go through the usual registration process, and pay the daily rate (part-time option), on top of the fee to join the outing.
