Terms and Conditions

Electronic device use is limited to educational / productive purposes only – tablet PCs and laptops are acceptable, and if a student doesn’t have a tablet or laptop, there may be a device available to borrow, on-premises. Accessing social media, streaming or video gaming is prohibited during school hours (8.30am – 2.30pm) unless specifically allowed by a teacher.

Mobile phones are prohibited during school hours (8.30am – 2.30pm). The digital device is a key learning tool and students don’t always associate mobile phones with learning. Students may bring a mobile phone on to the premises but it must be turned off and kept in their bag. If a student needs to contact a parent/guardian, this can be done via the school WhatsApp account. If the parent gives explicit permission for their child to contact them using their own phone, this can be done under isolated supervision.

Joglo Clubhouse is strictly a no-bully zone. Any behavior of a disrespectful or inappropriate nature, or generally in contradiction with our “Key Student Outcomes” or “Electronic Device Policy”, is absolutely prohibited. Students who disrupt these values will be given a warning and invited for a guidance session. Should further disruptions occur, the parents will be informed. As described in the “Behavioural Expectations” (below) families (parents/guardians) have the responsibility of helping their child be ready to adhere to Joglo Clubhouse policies, and should the parents need to be contacted more than twice with regards to disruptive behavior, then the child may be expelled from the school without eligibility for a refund or exchange. 

The Joglo Clubhouse School/Holiday program runs from Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 2.30pm. If a student will be absent, dropped off late or picked up early, a parent/guardian should inform the school, for concern of the child’s safety. If someone other than the parents/guardians are sent to pick up your child, please inform the school. In addition, students may not exit the premises between 8.30am – 2.30pm without permission from school or parents, communicated clearly with the school leaders/teachers, due to the potential safety risks of such an incident. 

Classrooms are fitted with standard classroom equipment and basic stationery and materials are provided. If any student wilfully damages any part of the premises or equipment, the parent/guardian will be required to reimburse the total value of the damage done or original price of the item.

There are specific behavioral expectations of the teachers, students and families. The teachers/staff are responsible for guiding the students through the “Key Student Outcomes”, while cultivating a setting that encourages positive growth and emotional well-being. The students are responsible for being positively and actively involved and productive in activities, respectful of and adherent to the “Student Ethos” and the “Electronic Device Policy”, and developing an independent approach to their studies and personal growth, during formal learning activities as well as break times. Families are responsible for helping their child(ren) be ready to fulfill these requirements. 

Should there be any serious issues with a student’s behavior or approach to the school’s activities, then the student may be removed from the group dynamic and/or asked to be picked up/sent home for the day. The school always communicates clearly and discreetly with the families regarding any such issues, and if the issues persist then the student may be refused entry to the school in subsequent weeks, or in extreme cases refused continued entry immediately following the issues/incidents. 

Any days/classes missed due to behavioral issues (including but not limited to the situations described above) observed and determined at and by the school,  will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Parents must explain any current or previous medical or developmental conditions, or dietary requirements. Failure to do so may result in the student’s immediate removal from the school without refund. Parents also release responsibility for any injury or illness that may be acquired while on the premises that occurs as a result of student negligence. 

The premises are cleaned and sterilized daily. To safeguard the school against the spreading of illnesses, if a student shows symptoms of illness, they are strongly encouraged to go/stay home to recover. If a student develops symptoms during the day at school then he/she will be isolated and a guardian will be asked to pick him/her up. Such symptoms include persistent coughing, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, headache, stomach-ache, nausea, muscle ache, diarrhea, shortness of breath and tiredness, or a temperature of 37.5C or more. 

Any days/classes missed due to health conditions (including but not limited to the symptoms described above) observed and determined at and by the school, will not be eligible for refund or exchange.

Any current or previous, recent diagnosis of illness contracted by a student must be described in full in order to protect the school as a whole. In the case of serious illness, a doctor’s certificate and/or test results may be required to allow the student to subsequently re-enter the school. 

Registration fee – Rph 500,000 (credit towards enrollment)

• Term : Rph 17,000,000
• Semester : Rph 30,000,000 (two consecutive terms) 
• Year : Rph 54,000,000 (four consecutive terms)

Enrollments starting mid-term and less than 9 weeks are subject to the weekly fees below.

Enrollments of 9 weeks or more, starting mid-term, may be subject to the termly fee for 10 weeks, with further weeks subject to the weekly fee below.

Enrollments of 18 weeks or more, starting mid-term, may be subject to the semesterly fee, with further weeks subject to the weekly fee below. 

Snacks/lunches are included.  

Trial Day – new students may come for one free trial day at the school after registration is complete.

15% sibling discount (applied to all siblings). 

All fees must be paid before enrollment begins.

Weekly fee – Rph 2,700,000. 

Discounts for multiple weeks up front:

2 weeks – 10% : Rph 4,860,000
3 weeks – 12% : Rph 7,128,000
4 weeks – 14% : Rph 9,288,000
5 weeks – 16% : Rph 11,340,000
6 weeks – 18% : Rph 13,284,000
7 weeks – 20% : Rph 15,120,000
8 weeks – 22% : Rph 16,848,000

One week = 5 consecutive days. Two weeks = 10 consecutive days, and so on.

Part-time option: Rph 650,000 per day, minimum five (5) days, and subject to the same discounts above (10 days = 10% discount, 15 days = 12% discount).

Enrollment fees must be paid before enrollment begins.

The registration fee is non-refundable, and is used as credit towards the enrollment fees.

Supervision begins at 8.30am and ends at 2.30pm. Classes run from 9am until 2pm. Latest pick-up is 2.30pm.

There are no refunds.

The multi-week discounts apply only to consecutive weeks, with an option for one week break within the enrollment period.

All enrollment dates are determined before the enrollment period begins and are stipulated on the invoice.

Student lists for the following week are finalised by Friday 3pm (the week before).

For the short-term (weekly) fee structure, if the school is informed of intended absences for the following week by Friday 3pm (the week before), then a rearrangement for a future enrollment date is possible. 

If the school is not informed of absences for the following week by Friday 3pm (the week before), the absence counts as an attended day and is deducted from the enrollment total.

In case of a medical emergency leading to an unforeseen absence, if a legally valid doctor’s certificate, full diagnosis and/or medical test results are presented to the school, then an enrollment date rearrangement is possible up to a maximum of three days (for weekly fee structure only). Discounts on future enrollments are not possible. 

If a student is suspended due to behavioral/health issues, an enrollment date rearrangement is not possible.

For the termly, semesterly, or yearly fee structure, enrollment date rearrangements are not possible.

The school must be informed of the date of rearrangement by 3pm on Friday the week before.

If the student is absent on the rearranged enrollment date, whether as a result of a medical emergency, it counts as an attended day and is deducted from the enrollment total.

Enrollment date rearrangements are subject to availability and only valid for the same child.

Trial days are subject to availability, can fall on any day from Monday to Thursday, and can be arranged up until the day before.

In order to continue enrollment after the trial day during the same week, the school must be informed of the intended days of enrollment before the trial day begins. The intended days of enrollment are stipulated on the invoice and are subject to standard enrollment policies outlined here.

If the school is not informed of the intended days of enrollment before the trial day begins, then the student must wait until at least the following week to begin enrollment.

The weekly Friday outings and termly overnight trips are optional and not included in the fee, but they are subsidized. The budget for the weekly outings is approximately Rph 300,000 – 400,000 per student per outing (on average it is Rph 300,000).

The cost of the overnight trips varies, at approximately Rph 700,000 – 1,000,000 per student per trip. During these outings / trips, basic snacks and/or lunches may be included in the price, while extra expenses, such as additional snacks or drinks, are not. It is advised that students have some pocket money for such expenses. 

Educational materials – basic stationary (pens, pencils, paper, folders, etc) and Art or Science supplies of a reasonable amount are included in the fee. If a student is continuously using large quantities of items such as paints and canvases, then the student/family may have to cover the costs. The fee does not include a tablet PC or laptop, though it may be possible to borrow such an item while on the premises.

Examinations or any further curricular registrations are not included in the fee.

Snacks are served at 10am, lunch is served at 12pm, with another quick snack available at 2pm. Students may bring their own food if they wish (but will follow the same schedule for snack-time and lunch-time).

If a student chooses not to eat the lunch and snack options available, then students must bring their own lunches and snacks. Students should eat a full and healthy low-sugar breakfast just before coming to school in the morning, and they should eat full and healthy low-sugar lunches and snacks, in order to maintain positive energy levels throughout the day. Any issues arising from diet are discussed with parents/guardians.
